Burner goes out after releasing the control knob

Possible cause: Thermocouple not sufficiently heated or faulty, or steam block in burner opening (oven). Hold control knob pressed in for approx. 10 seconds after ignition. For oven, blow into burner opening to remove steam if not cooled down from previous use. Wait at least 60 seconds before re-igniting.
