A liquid gas storage water heater designed for installation in caravans, motorhomes, and other recreational vehicles. The EL versions feature an additional 230 V, 850 W electric heating element to allow for dual-source or electric-only water heating.

No, this standard model is not approved for installation in boats. Truma supplies a specific DVGW-tested boat water heater for marine applications.

Q: Can I operate the water heater without water in the tank?

No, never operate the water heater without water contents. However, it is permissible to briefly check the electrical function while empty.

Q: What type of water pumps can be used with this boiler?

All pressure and submergible pumps up to 2.8 bar can be used. If using submergible pumps, a non-return valve must be fitted between the pump and the first branch.
